What Causes Cold, Fever And Blisters/swelling Under Nose/rim Of Lips?

I have a bad cold and fever blisters have come up under my nose and on the rim of my upper lip. When I woke up this morning the were burst open and the fever came back. What can I do to get ride of this open leaking sore on my face and it's got my lip swollen.

Hello dear,

The symptoms as mentioned in your post can be attributed to Herpes labialis.
It is a viral infection.

Management involves:
1. Analgesic antipyretic like Paracetamol
2. Antihistamine preparations like Allegra
3. Application of anti-biotic ointment over the sores to prevent secondary bacterial infection.
4. A course of Antiviral medications.
5. Maintenance of adequate hydration & nutrition status.

So, kindly consult your Doctor & start treatment as advised.
