Hello,

The cold sensation in skin and body of infant following fall from staircase should not be neglected. Following parameters must be evaluated over and above the pupils such as:
- Body temperature by thermometer
- Pulse and blood pressure measures
- Urine output chart
- Skin turgor
- Watching playfulness of child
- Observe any appearance of loss of consciousness, excess crying, irritability, refusal to feed or others

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
