Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Pur bloka is a non-selective beta blocker that may be used in the treatment of heart rhythm disorders/palpitations and other heart issues/hypertension.However, it will always be a good step to investigate the cause of symptoms.Apart from heart problems that may cause palpitations, gastritis/GERD and systemic infections like typhoid are common causes in adulescents.I will suggest you see the Doctor for an ECG test and if need be, other tests may be requested.
The condition may not be life-threatening since there are no other serious associated symptoms like breathlessness, cough.....
Just see the Doctor for examination.
Hope this will help
Best regards
