General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Cold extremities can result from peripheral neuropathy due to diabetes/spinal damage due to age wise degenerative changes leading to compression of the supplying nerves.
Vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to similar symptoms. Relevant investigations & expert consultation would find the exact cause followed by specific management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale,
