What Causes Cold Sensation In The Stomach While Having Indigestion?
Hello, I am 29yrs old male. I have a problem. I have always felt my stomach cold from outside and due to that there is also sense of cold inside too. Due to this sometimes I have stomach upset and sometime pain too. I normally drink hot tea or water to get relief from it or put my palm on it to make it warm, it does give me some relief? Could you please kindly advice me what could be the reason? Do I have to take immediate action or is it normal?
You might be having gastritis and in this case, you can benefit from taking some omeprazole and try to eat healthily and eat frequent small amounts of food (having 5-6 small meals then 2-3 big ones) to help with the stomach. Avoiding alcohol, coffee and smoking (even passive smoking) is helpful as well.
I would avoid drinking too hot drinks as these can burn the stomach mucosa and hurt your stomach in the long run and make gastritis worse. You can take warm drinks though.
I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Antoneta Zotaj,
