What Causes Cold Sensation With Shivering After Taking Combiflam?

My daughter is 9 years old. She got high fever from yesterday. I gave her paracetamol yesterday and today morning. And show to pediatrician in afternoon. He recommended COMBIFLEM TABLET to her . I gave her in evening when she again got fever... after tempreture redused.. but now she is shevering by cold. And her body tempreture is down.. plz instruct me urgent what to do

Hello,

Apart from combiflam is there any other medicine your doctor has advised? During fever it is very common to feel shivering as the body responds to fever this way. Make sure after taking the medicine, if she is sweating, use a dry cloth and make sure she is covered with blanket for the same. At intervals, you can check if she is sweating.

Also check her body temperature, if its within normal limits then nothing to worry. This usually happens while having fever. If the temperature is below normal of 37 degree Celsius then I suggest you take her to ER as hypothermia needs urgent medical attention.
