What Causes Cold Sores In The Mouth After Having Oral Sex?

In February/march I met with this guy online. He was my age which is 19. We are both male and had some sexual activity. I did oral but there was no semen invovled when I did it, but for him yes, and when we tried to have sex we stopped. There was no penetration or any bodily fluids invovled for me. He said he was clean and so was I. I didn t really know him well enough but I m super paranoid and stressed myself out which made me develop cold sores in my mouth. Til this day I am still paranoid, but we both had protection and I got blood drawn out in June and had hiv and oral and genital herpes tested. The tests came back negative and I just have the hsv virus. HSV1/2 and HIV came back negative. Should I still be worried? Other than that my cold sores are doing so much better and are going down.

Hello,

No, need to worry if the test results came back negative. If you are worried you can go for another test after 6 months of scientific facts.

I did oral but there was no semen involved when I did it, but for him, yes, and when we tried to have sex we stopped

ans: you don't need semen for transmission, mucosal contact is enough

He said he was clean and so was I answer: always consider stranger to being positive unless you see the blood reports with a date.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
