What Causes Cold, Sweat, Dizzy And Faint During Night?

Hi Doctor, The other night I broke out in a cold sweat all of a sudden, was very dizzy and nearly fainted. Felt better after going to the toilet, the whole thing lasted about half an hour, it was quite frightening. Any idea what could have caused it?

The cold sweats that you had could be due to weakness recent viral infection thyroid hormone imbalances or extreme heat in the room. This seems to be due to a minor issue.
