What Causes Cold Symptoms, Loss Of Appetite And Blood Stained Mucus?

My daughter has very bad cold symptoms, loss of appetite and a bad cattarghy coigh which has come on over the past couple of days but before that we could tell she wasnt right but couldnt put her finger on what was wrong. This morning she woke with blood stained mucus around her nose/face. She has no energy at all. Do you think she just has a cold or should i take her to see the doctor?

Thanks for the query.
It may be some respiratory tract infection which is causing cold, cough.
Blood in the mucus may be due to forceful cough which might injure small capilaries.
Steam inhalation with nasal decongestant drops may help.
If problem persists then see a doctor.
