What Causes Cold With Discharge From The Eye?
I have had a bad cold for a wk now. Went to a small clinic yesterday & got a prescription for Medrol, azithromycin & cheratussin. Took the suggested dose last night. With this cold I have had a little eye discharge each morning. This morning I woke up with blood in my left eye. I am looking for any suggestions as to what that may be or whether I should call my Dr.

It seems from the history that you are having cold indicating upper respiratory tract infection.
The presence of eye discharge indicate infection of the eyes in the form of acute conjunctivitis. This is because of spread of infection to the eyes from the surrounding respiratory tract.
The treatment is by use of antibiotic eye drops along with the treatment for upper respiratory tract infection.
