What Causes Cold With Sore Throat And Dizziness?

I caught a cold last week, it hasn't gone (i've been taking the usual tablets I do when I catch a cold) but it's been getting worse, my throat's been really sore, my hearing has been effected, i feel light headed most of the time and my lips are chapped to the point of bleeding

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having cold with sore throat and difficulty in hearing.
These symptoms indicate upper respiratory tract infection. Difficulty in hearing is probably because of closure of eustachian tube.
The treatmen is by use of antibiotics, antiinflammatory drugs and decongestants.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
