What Causes Coldness, Tingling And Numbness After Taking Ferrous Sulfate?
I am taking Ferrous Sulfate after having my Doctor find a ferritin level of 6. I am experiencing coldness, tinging and numbness on the supplement. I tried taking it in the morning with food, on an empty stomach and right before bed same issues. Should I try a liquid supplement?

Hello,
You need to check your vitamin B12 and folate levels too. As iron replacement causes more cells to grow and also consumes vitamin B12 and folate in this process. Vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to tingling and numbness. After sending tests I suggest you to take these supplements along with ferrous sulfate.
