What Causes Collar Bone To Feel Tender And Hurts While Touching?

Is it possible to have a dislocated collar bone and not know it? could this be dislocated? it doesn't hurt but my collarbone on the ball near the chest and neck sticks out quite a bit. It feels tender and hurts when I touch it but other than that I'm fine. I exercise regularly could I have got it out of place?
