What Causes Colorful Patterns In The Vision And Pain Behind The Eye?
HI. Woke up during night feeling like I slept hard/heavy; vision was gone but seeing colorful patterns of triangles, etc for about 20 mins before it went away. went back to sleep but this morning I have left eye hurting & left forehead aching. Took blood pressure: 198/100, 2nd take: 188/125. Checked meds, took wrong meds so no BP meds for couple of days. I have now taken correct med: Amlodipine Besylate 5mg. Last bp check 170/90- 10 minutes ago.
Hello dear Greetings Regarding your experience with colorful vision and pain at the left eye and ache at the left forehead following a diagnosed hypertension I am suggesting that you are gradually developing a condition called hypertensive retinopathy
In view of this please continue with your prescribed medication for hypertension and schedule an appointment with an ophthalmologist specialist for expert clinical assessment and adequate drug treatment
I hope this helps Regards and get well soonest
