What Causes Concentration Difficulty, Headache And Numbness?

Hi....I am experiencing headaches daily since Wednesday March-9th. These headaches are usually run up the back of my neck and my head feels fuzzy or slightly numb. I have previously had anterior cervical decompression and fusion between C6 and c7 in 2011. I really have a hard time focusing.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, numbness and headache relate with cervical fusion and decompression history between C6 and C7, which may be possibly recompressing over a period of time. The concentration difficulty can be of multiple factors as underlying stress, anxiety, secondary cerebral changes in hippocampus or other vital areas.

I would recommend a thorough clinical examination including Minnesota test, motor and sensory parameters evaluation of the both upper limb portions. Still any of the relevant information would be best possible till you approach your consultant.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
