What Causes Confusion, Short Term Memory Loss And Loss Of Muscle Control?
Several month s onset of: confusion, then short term memory loss, then a good day with no symptoms, now no good days. Confusion, loss of muscle control (arms waving, legs moving while sitting), inability to form words, while able to think the words, weight loss, with good appetite, hands bothering him. He is 85 so has been told by Drs it is old age. Could this be a poisoning?

The symptoms are mainly age related and can be due to disease like cerebral atrophy and Alzheimer's disease. But poisoning need to be ruled out. When he is having such symptoms get his urine for toxicology done and it will help to differentiate.
