What Causes Congestion In The Throat While Suffering Gall Bladder Dysfunction?

My husband has faulty gall bladder symptoms but his ultra sound came back normal. His biggest problem is the congestion in his throat. He had a normal endoscopy and his ENT doc put him on a steroid, antibiotic and prednisone. No results...all day and night the congestion chokes him. Could it be the bile from the gallbladder?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I don't think that his gallbladder issues are related to congestion problems. I think gallbladder stones are a disease there doesn't interfere with breathing. Taking count of the symptoms and treatment he is taking probably he is suffering a severe respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis or pneumonia.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
