What Causes Conjunctivitis In Both The Eyes?

Hi I started taking clarithromycin 500mg, bid 2 days ago. After the first two does, I developed conjunctivitis in both eyes, with purulent discharge characteristic of typical pink eye. Is this a reaction to the antibiotic, or a result of my chest, throat, sinus and ear infection. Please advise. Thank you

it can not be reaction to any antibiotic. infection is contagious and you might have got from some one having infection. for your problem you have to take proper antibiotic drop. put on dark glass when you come out of room. clean the discharge by sterile swab.
