What Causes Consistent Decrease In Albumin Level In Blood?
Over the last couple of years my blood tests have shown a steady decline from 4.2-to 3.2 on my albumin. I get pretty exhausted by mid-afternoon and have been told this may be a sign of an auto-immune problem. What could cause the albumin to consistently decline?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Decrease in albumin level indicates loss of proteins from body.
This can occur in liver disorder, protein loosing enteropathy (a disorder of gastrointestinal tract) or renal disorder.
I suggest you to get complete liver function tests and kidney function tests.
If any disorder is detected on these investigations, further work up will be required to find the cause and management of low albumin in blood.
