Hello, I don t know what to do. Go to the doctor or just ignore the problem? My right lower leg and ankle is constantly aching. No marks on the leg that I can see. The pain almost seems like it is coming from the inside of my leg.(bone maybe)

Hi,

Constant aching in the lower leg and ankle can have various causes. Here are some possibilities:
* Sprain or strain: A sprain or strain in the ankle or lower leg can cause pain and tenderness. If you have recently twisted or turned your ankle or leg, this could be a possible cause.
* Shin splints: Shin splints are a common cause of leg pain that occurs along the shinbone (tibia) in the lower leg. This can be caused by repetitive stress, such as running or jumping.
* Stress fractures: Overuse or repetitive stress can lead to small cracks in the bones of the lower leg, called stress fractures. This can cause pain and tenderness.
* Peripheral artery disease (PAD): PAD is a condition in which the arteries in the legs become narrowed, leading to poor blood flow. This can cause aching in the lower leg and foot.
* Deep vein thrombosis (DVT): DVT is a blood clot that forms in a deep vein in the leg. This can cause pain, swelling, and tenderness.
* Nerve problems: Nerve damage or compression in the leg or ankle can cause pain, numbness, or tingling. This can be caused by conditions such as peripheral neuropathy, sciatica, or tarsal tunnel syndrome.

If the pain is persistent or severe, see a doctor for appropriate treatment. The doctor may perform a physical examination and imaging tests like X-rays or an ultrasound to make a diagnosis.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,

Your symptoms suggest weak bones (due to low calcium, low vitamin D) and weak ankle joint (weight bearing) i.e., osteoporosis. Please get your serum calcium and vitamin D3 estimated to get needful specific replacement according to your doctor's advice.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
