What Causes Constant And Severe Headache After Nasal Septum Correction Surgery?

Hi, I had a sinus and nasal septum correction surgery 3 years ago. I get head aches often even after surgery. Now it is worse since 3 months.. constant headaches and i got a MRI scan done. The results are polypoidal mucousal thickening on right sphenoid and ethmoid sinuses.mild mucousal thickening bilateral maxillary and left sphenoid sinuses.mild right inferior nasal turbinate thickening. Soft tissue density with right middle turbinate suggestive of infalmmatory changes, etc. I have had a lot of antibiotics orally as well as by injections as per doctors advice. My wbc counts are always high 16,400 currently. Please suggest what can be done doctor

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It is quite common after nasal surgery. As a first line management you can take analgesics like Tramadol or Aceclofenac for pain. If symptoms persist better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
