Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been having constant mid back pain and fatigue. I also have shooting pain in my left shoulder and cannot stand any pressure on my elbow. Occasionally when I use my left hand, it feels like I am getting an electric shock. Could this be due to a pinched nerve?
Back pain may be due to a continuing strain on back muscles. Other possibilities like lumbar spondylosis or radiculopathy or compressive neuropathy or kidney or ureteric stones etcetera. For arm electric shock-like sensation due to tapping on the nerve leading to this effect. Other possibilities like cervical spondylosis with radiculopathy or Lhermitte sign. Unless examination, it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your physician/neuro physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
