What Causes Constant Belching, Nausea And Dizziness?

I ve been belching almost constantly for about 2 weeks. It doesn t seem to matter if I take Tums or Ranitidine, or what I ve eaten. I also have periods of feeling nauseated and periods of feeling a bit dizzy. I ve also had a fairly chronic headache.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Belching, nausea, dizziness are all symptoms of GERD, IBS, Gastrointestinal diseases (stomach ulcer, gastritis, etc).

You are suggested to visit a GP & get physically examined. You will have to go through blood tests, X-Ray, Esophageal manometry, upper endoscopy, ambulatory acid(ph) probe test.

Medications like antacids, PPI's, Baclofen are effective in controlling the symptoms. Take medicine only under your treating doctor.

Avoid food that causes allergy, spicy oily, trans fat food. Stay away from addictions if any. Keep yourself hydrated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
