Hello, I am 34 years old, I am over weight, I usually have irregular periods, however, I have had my period now for eight weeks straight, should I be worried? or is it because I am being more active and starting to loose weight? it is reasonably heavy,

this could be an abortion, most likely.
consult your gynaecologist, get ug exam done.
