What Causes Constant Bloating Of Lower Part Of Stomach?

I constantly have a bloated tummy - lower part and am not sure why. I do enjoy a couple of alcohol drinks every night, but eat exceptionally well and I also drink between 8-10 glasses of water a day. I eat a fair bit of lettuce, broccoli and other green vegetables, which I have heard can lead to a bloated stomach.
I tend to have bouts of constipation and then other times when I can go to the toilet very easily.
I am so tied of having such a bloated stomach, when I eat and exercise so well - every day.
Your advise would be most appreciated.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

There are some foods, as you mentioned, that can lead to bloating.

Broccoli, beans, cabbage, cauliflower, turnips, brussel sprouts are some of the types of vegetables that can cause this problem.

You may want to increase the use of fruits and vegetables not associated with this problem such as asparagus, avocado, bell peppers, beets, squash, tomatoes, pears, kiwi, canteloupe, peaches, nectarines.

I hope this helps
