What Causes Constant Blockage In Nostrils?

I am 59 years old with weight 66 kg and have a trouble of sinus problem. Nose always chocked and there is trouble of giving and leaving breath. Therefore I am using Otrivin Adult for temporary relief. The disease is from 18 to 20 years. Now dr. suggest the endoscopy for that what can I do ?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain constantly blocked nostrils seems to be due to a few reasons like Chronic Sinusitis, nasal and sinus polyps..
As you take Otrivin that contains Xylometazoline that is a decongestant it helps in temporary resolution by opening the nasal passages..
Endoscopy is a correct investigation that will help i n ruling out the exact cause of the congestion so that you can be treated correctly.
In case of infection int
The sinuses antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkillers, decongestant Oral as well as Nasal Spray, saline nasal irrigation, steam inhalation and steroid nasal spray can be advised..
I'm case of polyps Steroid nasal spray and Oral steroids can be given to reduce the size of polyps..
In case if it does not reduce surgical removal has to be done.
