What Causes Constant Bright Lights Blurring The Vision In Eyes?

I have Macular degeneration in both eyes, with laser surgery performed 22 years ago, last week check on retina - shows no change from last year. Two days ago, i have a constant bright light that blurs what s left of my vision. What is the cause and what are the possible remedies?

Hello,

* The management of Macular degeneration is of complex variety depending upon its type as dry or wet and extent of involvement.

However, as there is laser surgery done before 22 years, there are following options available as

@ Disease modifying agents as VEGF ( Vascular endothelial growth facctor ) inhibitors as Bevacizumab Ranizumba

@ Photo coagulation

@ Photo dynamic therapy with Injection of Verteporfin

The details of which are beyond scope of this online platform and has to be discussed with your treating ophthalmic surgeon only.
