Hello,

Burning sensation in abdomen may be due to the following causes:
1) Gastric irritation
2) Gastric ulcer
3) Duodenal ulcer
4) Gastroesophageal reflux or GERD

In pregnancy, gastric irritation and reflux are common. Some of the treatment options that could be considered are:
1) Tab. Pantoprazole 40 mg once daily before food.
2) If heart burn is severe, then take omez insta sachet and mix it in a glass of water and drink.
3) Continued above treatment for 1 week.

If your stomach burning doesn't resolve, you may need to see a gastroenterologist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hello,

The following are few causes of burning sensation in abdomen during initial pregnancy:
1) Due to increased progesterone levels, the esophageal sphincter or opening gets relaxed and causes flow of food backwards from stomach to food pipe thus causing irritation of food pipe.
2) Indigestion and recurrent vomiting also lead to gastric irritation.

My suggestions are as follows:
1) You can use Omez Insta sachets. Each sachet is to be mixed in a half glass of water and drink. It can be used once daily.
2) You can also use tab. Omeprazole once daily before food.
3) Avoid lying down immediately after eating.
4) There must be at least 2 hours gap between meals and lying down or sleep.
5) Reduce anxiety by daily meditation for at least 5 mins.
6) Light exercise like walking also would help digest food better.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
