What Causes Constant Chest Pain While Having Sjogren S Syndrome?
I have sjogrens. I have been having chest pain - both sides for several weeks, varying changes in blood pressure ranging from very low to high. I am having an image taken of my chest on Monday. I assume this is pleurisy but the pain is pretty bad. Tonight on right side. Are there other common issues with sjogrens? YYYY@YYYY
Sjogren's syndrome sometimes causes rare complications like inflammation of the lungs (chest pain), liver or kidneys.
You are suggested to get physically examined by a GP, get blood workouts & Imaging (X-Ray, CT if required) tests done to detect the factor causing you discomfort.
Your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected. Get treated at the earliest to avoid the worsening of the symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
