What Causes Constant Chills In Body?

29 year old male started taking Clonazepam 1 mg tablet three times a day; started Friday night. Now 1:20 am Sunday morning, he is having chills. Ceiling fan was on, but now off still moaning. Earlier he also took 2 Aleve. Could this be causing his chills?

Hello,

Chills might probably be adverse effects of taking Aleve. Clonazepam too can cause but very rare. For the chills to come down:
1) Tab. Levocetirizine once can be taken
2) Warming externally
3) Aleve and clonazepam to be discontinued for the time being
4) Clonazepam can be restored within 2 days
5) Adequate hydration and proper rest

Temperature is to be checked daily twice until the chills come down. If any other symptoms like high fever, vomiting, diarrhea
3)headache, cough, throat pain, or burning while urination are observed, kindly see a nearest GP for appropriate treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
