What Causes Constant Chronic Abdominal Pain?

Last night, I started to have abdominal pain, almost like period cramps, but I m not supposed to start for 2 more weeks. Now it is a constant pain, with periods of extreme pain, that last about 30 seconds before it goes back to just steady pain. I called my doctor s office, and they can t fit me in until Monday. Should I seek immediate help?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
from history it seems that you might be having abdominal colic producing this type of pain.
This can be due to some GI infection or acid reflux or gastritis.
Take Meftal Spas or Cyclopam for pain.
Take Omeprazole if required.
Take light food.
Ok and take care.
