What Causes Constant Dizziness And Breathlessness?

Hi I am 38 years old and I am 178cm tall and my wight is 125kg I have been getting dizzy spells and breathless ness but these only happen a few times throughout the day my heart rate at rest has been getting to 45 bpm but when I workout I don t have any symptoms what s wrong with me. Please help thanks Wayne

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have constant dizziness and breathlessness , which is pointing towards injury to nerve endings in the middle ear. There can be many causes for nerve damage like exposure to loud sound, due to certain medicines like anti inflammatory. allergy, asthma and sinusitis. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist again for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order blood test , CT scan , MRI or hearing test like audiogram. There are many treatment options doctor can opt like acoustic neural stimulation and anti-anxiety drugs.These symptoms usually accompanied by hearing loss . If there is infection of middle ear or sinusitis then doctor may prescribe antibiotics . For now avoid loud sound , exercise for half an hour daily (light walk) , reduce intake of tea and coffee and try to keep stress level low. Doctor may also refer you to allergy specialist for asthma like problem .
