Hi,

Constant dizziness and a spinning feeling can be caused by a variety of factors, including inner ear problems, medication side effects, dehydration, low blood sugar, and anxiety. Inner ear problems such as labyrinthitis or benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) can cause dizziness and a spinning feeling. Infections, inflammation, or changes in the fluid levels within the inner ear can disrupt balance and lead to dizziness.

Certain medications, particularly those that affect blood pressure or brain chemistry, can cause dizziness and vertigo as a side effect. Dehydration and low blood sugar can also cause dizziness, particularly if you have been exerting yourself or not eating enough. Anxiety or panic attacks can also cause dizziness, particularly if you experience symptoms of hyperventilation such as rapid breathing and chest tightness.

To help relieve the dizziness, it is important to identify and address the underlying cause. If you are experiencing symptoms of dehydration or low blood sugar, drinking fluids and eating a balanced meal may help. If you suspect medication side effects, speak with your healthcare professional. If the dizziness persists, see a healthcare professional for further evaluation and treatment options. They may recommend physical therapy or medication to alleviate the symptoms.
