Pulmonologist 's  Response
These all are complications of diabetes. So first and foremost is strict control of diabetes is needed. Patients with OSA and diabetes are more prone to get complications. Some times better treatment and control of OSA can give additional benefits in diabetes control and reduce the complication. The symptoms like excessive sweating, headach, breathlessness, excessive day time sleepiness is all due to high day time pCO2 due to uncontrolled OSA. So better to consult pulmonologist and get done sleep test with titration by CPAP machine. CPAP therapy with weight reduction is cornerstone of OSA management.
