My mom has complained of feeling of dizziness when she lays down like the room is spinning, six weeks ago she got up to go to the bathroom she got dizzy could not catch herself fell and broke her ankle? Last night I took her to the emergency room because she had two dizzy spells yesterday. They gave her a prescription for dizziness for 5 days. They also gave her two pills while at the emergency room the nurse said for vertigo, they also gave her fluids for dehydration, now as she was getting ready to go to bed and after laying down the dizziness came again, they did a cat scan and said it came back ok, but when she had the dizzy spell last night while getting ready to go to bed my mom just told me she had a odd feeling and the base of her head near her neck. Should I make and appointment to see a neurologist? she is 66
