What Causes Constant Dryness In Eyes?

Hi Sir, I have been having a problem with my eyes for a little over two years and here is what they have been doing. First, they are constantly dry; also if I wipe my eyes in the morning or anytime through the day they have the worse smell coming off them on to my hand that I use to wipe them with. My vision has been gradually getting worse. It is the foul smell that is a constant and will not go away that has me concerned. Any help?

1.     Tear plus eye drop – one drop in each eye four times daily for dry eye
2.     Azithral (azithromycin) eye drop – one drop in each eye every 12 hours daily for 7 days
3.     Hot fomentation with slight warm water three times daily
4.     Keep your eyelid clean
5.     Get an eye check – up with an eye specialist in your locality
Thanks
