What Causes Constant Fatigue And Headache After An Open Heart Surgery?

Hi, I am 57 year old female, I have lived a healthy lifestyle, I had a Right Atrial Carnivorous Haemangioma removed via Open Heart Surgery 10 months ago after feeling more & more tired over the years. I was telling doctors for the past ten years I felt as if the blood did nit travel around my body properly & particularly in my head. I still feel constant fatigue, head aches, my head feels heavy, I feel a little vague, unsteady on my feet and cant really bend or crouch down without feeling dizzy. I live in a country area & the doctors are saying I should be fine now they have removed the tumor. Do you have any advice you could give me?

Hello,

You should have normal blood pressure and echocardiography. If these are normal then please see a psychiatrist as such psychiatric problems are common after open heart surgery. Try mediration and deep breathing exercises.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
