What Causes Constant Fatigue, Fainting, Vomiting And Headaches?

Hello, I have been having health issues for a while and would like to know more about what could potentially be the cause. In November, I had been experiencing constant fatigue and lack of energy for several months and then ended up passing out, vomitting constantly for 4 days, and had terrible headaches, chills, and night sweats. I had a CBC done at urgent care and it came back with slightly elevated platelet levels. I ended up passing out one night, and my doctor had me admitted to the ER suspicious of a brain tumor or that it might have been a seizure, and they ran a series of tests, all coming back showing everything is normal. My primary decided that it was probably just something like West Nile and would go away in a few months. He gave me steroids and something for the headaches. The majority of my symptoms went away, aside from the fatigue which has been a constant. A few weeks ago I started having what I assumed were allergy symptoms, swollen throat and hands, my nose had been stuffy. I took Zyrtec to get rid of the allergy symptoms, but it didn t seem to help with anything aside from the stuffy nose. I then started to get a ton of small, reddish looking bruises on my skin. They don t feel like a rash and don t itch, but hurt like bruises. My hands are swollen, it is difficult and painful to swallow, and I have more and more bruises every day. Urgent care ordered a CBC which came back all normal. I am afraid my doctor will simply dismiss this as allergies or something, but it feels like somthing is seriously wrong. Could this be connected to what was happening in November?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It might be due to hypothyroidism.

Do a thyroid function test and make sure that the hormone status is normal.

If the hormones are on the lower side, necessary dose adjustments are required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
