What Causes Constant Feeling Of Mucus In Throat While Having Stent In Heart?

My husband has had a very difficult time with his throat. He feels like there is mucus constantly in his throat. When eating he has to stop to take breaths of air as he feels he cant breath. He has a medical stent since 2003. Seeing a cardiologist done a stress test. Mild lv issues on meds for his heart and blood pressure. Hard for him to talk more than 2 or 3 sentence. Lost a lot of weight he he 55 years old. In the last eight months he is losing around 10 lbs a month.went from 196 lb 153. today hope you can help.

I really appreciate your concern, it is couple of condition being stated here one is cardiac and second is allergic, for the allergic condition it is nothing to worry because it could be self limiting, for the cardiac condition if this is stent there they it always have some left ventricular elements but that is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
