What Causes Constant Flank Pain?
I have ongoing pain on my left flank if touched makes a sound In my abdomen IT never eases n it s start to carryover to the right side I ve had mri n cat scan nothing was ever seen it worries me as it never goes away even with toradal shots or t3s or even oxycotin

Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like arthritis , disk disease , pinched nerve in the back , muscle spasm , kidney infection , kidney stones , pancreatitis and inflammatory illnesses of the bowel . I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper examination . Doctor will take history , see that in which direction pain is going , order kidney function test , blood test and ultrasound . Doctor may refer you to nephrologist for kidney problem or orthopedic surgeon for nerve muscle and disc problem . Doctor may also refer you to gastroenterologist if there will be condition related to gastric problem . For now apply warm compresses on back and upper abdomen and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
