What Causes Constant Headache And Neck Pain Along With Lump On The Neck?
Hi, I am a healthy, active 23 year old female. Within the past month or so, I ve noticed an increase in recurrent headaches and neck pain that would sometimes radiate to the upper region of my back. Literally this afternoon, I notice a small lump on the left side of the back of my neck right underneath of my hairline. Not sure what it entails...
Hello dear, I understand your concerns. Please try to give away your anxiety.Neck pain can radiate to head and back in cases of cervical spondylosis, but for your age that is slightly unusual.TTH(Tension type headache) can sometimes have this kind of presentation and sometimes , even migraine can present this way.Lump below the hairline as you said is probably not related. For headache, a cervical spine digital x-ray may be done to rule out spondylosis. You need to visit a neurologist. For lump, you should see a general surgeon.I hope it helped.
