What Causes Constant Headache On The Right Side Of My Head?

Hello, I had a medical abortion at 21 weeks. It was performed a week ago. My feet swelled up the day I went home, last Thursday. I was kept overnight for observation as I was losing a lot of blood. The swelling never really went away but now my entire legs and both feet are pretty swollen, so much that the skin is tight and I am quite uncomfortable moving. I also developed a constant headache on the right side of my head for the last 3 days. A few hours ago I started cramping in my abdomen, lower left side. Are these things normal after a D&E or should I be concerned?

These symptoms are possible after a D&C. Since you did not say that you had a fever, I would not worry too much yet. If you start getting a fever, see a Doctor right away.

Here are a few things you can do to help you with the symptoms:
Drink lots of water
Bathe with hot water
Get a massage
Eat well and at regular times
Sleep well and get at least 10 hours of sleep
Inhale steam mixed with eucalyptus oil to help with the headache

Follow up after 3 days. All the best.
