What Causes Constant Headaches After Falling On Face?

In July I tripped and fell face first on asphalt. Was told I broke my nose in two places (but not the septum). I continue to have consistent headaches. I have a referral to ENT that I need to schedule appt for - not sure headaches related and what ENT could do to help?

Hello,

I can understand your concern. The headache can be referred pain due to fractures in the nose.

ENT specialist can sure help you by taking x-ray of the nose and suggesting treatment for the nasal fractures. When nasal fractures will be healed, headaches will stop as they have started with the fracture.

If you are in pain right now, you can take Ibuprofen 400 mg up to three times in a day to have relief in pain till you see the specialist.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
