What Causes Constant High Core Body Temperature?

My son is hot all the time. I mean HOT. He runs the ac constantly. He is 25,slightly overweight, has normally low bp. Sometimes it s low enough to make him slightly dizzy. Refuses any blood work. This is since he had the flu about 2 years ago. Prior to that, he was more sensitive to cold. His diet is good...he likes to cook so he makes good meals. Any ideas? Jackie

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

He should get further evaluated doing a total blood count with formula and biochemical blood balance. I can think about possible conditions without a single examination. Arthritis or hyperthyroidism may be causes also despite any infection.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
