What Causes Constant Irritation Along With Redness And Swelling In Eyes?
I have constant irritation, redness, & swelling in right eye. Even taking anti histimine, nasal spray, & eye drops the issue does not resolve. It may improve slightly but never resolves. It has been ongoing for at least 4 months. I am desperate for relief.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have constant irritation along with redness and swelling in eyes. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like eye allergies , conjunctivitis , styes , chalazion or injuries. I would suggest you to wash your eyes with cold water several times a day , put corticosteroid eye drops in your eyes and take over the counter anti histamine like benadryl twice a day . If condition doesn't get better then consult ophthalmologist for proper diagnosis and treatment . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants along with anti inflammatory and antibiotics .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
