What Causes Constant Itching In Between Legs?

I have been having a constant itch in between my legs area. I was recently on my period this past week so it was really annoying because pads sometimes make me itch more than usual. However this itch is still going on and it s gotten to the point that I ve scratched too hard that it burns afterwards (even when I pee). I went to the pool last weekend and came home really late and immediately passed out without showering... Could the public pool water have caused anything? Also, I haven t had sex in about 2-3 weeks so I don t know if that has anything to do with it. It really bothers me and sometimes it doesn t let me sleep. It s very red and irritated. There are no warts or any kind of skin conditions that I know of so far.

Itching in the genitalia can have various causes but it isnot lack of intercourse.
It can be some allergic contact dermatitis or infections like vulvovaginal candidiasis.
You need to consult a dermatologist for evaluation of the cause.
