Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am allergic to all most every chemical known to man. I have had 2 epidural injections in my neck and each time, I have a clogged feeling in my ears. My ear canal always itch, as well. I know I am allergic to steroids, but the research I found suggests while I might be allergic topically, this does not mean I am allergic to something ingested or in my case, inserted. Is this true?

Hello,
The cause of itching in your ears can be either dryness or fungal infection. No, whatever you are allergic to when injected would cause allergic symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
