What Causes Constant Lightheadedness?

constant lightheadedness. ear check ok (ENT), ct scan of head ok. blood pressure ok. sent to pt, helped but still not quite right. they say it could be my neck, I had an injury years ago. weird thing is that in the past year my left eye has shaded over twice (coincidence??). medications I take: Dulera, Crestor, Dexalant and Nasonex.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Constant lightheadedness in your case is caused by 2 main reasons:
- asthma attacks you might experience taking into account the meds you take (Dulera, Nasonex)
- remnants of a past neck injury.

I think you should keep well hydrated as long as other parameters are fine. With regards to Crestor, it might also aggravate your neck issues as it might affect your muscular system. Better discuss with your caring doctor to change therapy and see if it will improve.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
