What Causes Constant Nausea Along With Dizzy Spells?

My 27 year old daughter (Caucasian) recently went water skiing at a nearby lake (Bakersfield, CA) and developed nausea and dizziness the later in the day. She managed to wipe out at least once and swallowed some lake water (parasite?). It was extremely hot and she was admitted the next day at UCLA for suspected dehydration. However, the conclusion of the ER physician(s) was that she was just exhausted - a possibility, as she recently moved back to CA from Phoenix to start a new job. HOWEVER, over a week later, she still is experiencing these same symptoms. The only other medical fact to add is that she discontinued her BCP bills about two weeks ago. Possible diagnoses?

Hello,

* The constant nausea with dizzy spells indicate underlying intestine infection through some sort of bacteria or virus ingested from seawater.

* Stopping of birth control pills do not cause such an issue for sure. Do discuss the need for relevant investigations in the form of blood panel and so forth to diagnose the condition and treat accordingly.
