What Causes Constant Pain At The Base Of The Skull And Neck?

i have been having constant pain in my neck and lower head. I cannot turn my head in either direction without more pain.. I have arthritis in my neck and degenerative disc disease. Could this pain be caused by a pinched nerve? The pain was gradual over the last year, and now, it is constant.

yes
your symptoms highly suggestive of disc prolapse and cervical spondylosis

have an x ray done
if your pain is very severe
go for surgery
sometimes medical treatment with analgesic s will suffice
